Triggering Sounds in SoundTypr™

SoundTypr™ makes sound triggering fast and intuitive. Use keys 1–9, 0, –, and = on your keyboard to instantly trigger 12 assigned sounds. Hit the spacebar at any time to stop all playback. You can upload your own audio files, assign them to keys by dragging from the loaded files list, and trim them for precise triggering. Build your own custom patches in seconds for quick access to the sounds you need.

Recording SoundTypr™ into Your DAW

To capture SoundTypr’s real-time playback in your DAW, simply configure your system audio as an input source. On Mac, this can be done with tools like Loopback or BlackHole; on Windows, options like VoiceMeeter will do the trick. Once set up, hit record in your DAW and trigger sounds in SoundTypr in sync to picture. SoundTypr™ is great for footsteps and so much more!

Use Your Own Sounds — Build Patches Instantly

With SoundTypr, you can upload your own audio files and create patches on the fly. Since it’s a web app, we don’t store your presets — just keep your edited files organized in a folder and access them whenever you need. Patch building is instantaneous, giving you total flexibility without the wait.
